KACD Governance
The Kansas Association of Conservation Districts is governed by a five-member Board of Directors. Each director represents one of five multiple-county geographical areas of the state. Every year an annual convention is held for the conservation districts to discuss and seek consensus on conservation matters.
Most Kansas conservation district are members of Kansas Association of Conservation Districts. Each year, the local conservation districts hold an annual meeting and elect their local board of supervisors.
