Conservation Programs & Initiatives

KACD and its local conservation districts are responsible for helping farmers and ranchers address resource concerns by providing technical and financial assistance.  This assistance may come from a variety of providers and partners which include USDA-NRCS, Kansas Deptartment of Agriculture, Division of Conservation, as well as local and even national private partners.

As a Kansas resident, if you own, or manage land to provide food, fuel or fiber, then your local conservation district is here to work with you.  Local staff can help land owners and tenant farmers or operators identify resource concerns and determines the best plan of action to address the specific needs for your operation.
