Kansas has a long history of preserving its natural resources through the broad-based, consistent use of
effective conservation practices.  In order for this tradition to continue, it's important to provide timely
and useful conservation information to state and community leaders as well as to the general public.

This document, "Conservation in Kansas: An
Overview," is a reformatted, letter-sized version of
the booklet that was printed by KACD and provided
to districts in January 2012.  Feel free to download
and copy this version for use at district annual
meetings and other purposes.  KACD had double-
sided copies made for distribution to legislators at the
2013 Conservation Day in the Capitol.
